Sid is as sweet and silly as they come. He loves to hug you and
"nom" your nose with sloppy kisses. Besides being a sweetheart, he's
truly a great specimen of the Boston. With his square body and matching
square head, you won't be surprised by his fluid movement or his correct
structure. He shows like the champion that he is and has done a great
job in the whelping box as well. From his first litter, his daughter,
Aurora, is a Canadian champion and has already won the Canadian Boston
Terrier National specialty at just 14 months of age, going over
top-ranked specials. She has already received two BIS awards in Canada
this year as well. He also has other get finished in Canada and pointed
in the US.
I co-own with Jamey Spowart of
SageHill Kennels and Crystal Graham of Togra Bostons in South Africa. Jamey
was instrumental in training and helping show Sid to his American title.
Sid was intended to go live with his forever family in South Africa at the
end of the year, but due to blunt force trauma to his right eye, he had
to have the damaged eye removed, so will be staying in the U.S. This is
purely an injury and has no genetic association. While we are
disappointed that he won’t be joining his co-owners in So. Africa to
help improve their lines and expand the limited gene pool there, we are
happy that he will remain in the U.S. for us to love and enjoy. Sid is
officially retired (i.e., neutered), but frozen semen is available on a
limited basis to select bitches. |

Although Sid now only has one eye, the surgeon did a great
job and you can barely tell. It has not slowed him down at
all...
In fact, I don't think he even notices he is missing an
eye! |
